1. Who we are

This Privacy Notice describes how CANE health and wellness services("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you use our website and the Rebuild application (the "Service"). We act as the data controllerfor the personal data described below.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, login credentials.
  • Profile and content data: onboarding answers, journal entries, reflections, goals, wins, and any content you create in the Service.
  • Coach interactions: messages you send to our AI coach.
  • Support messages: the contents of any message you send us.
  • Usage and device data: pages visited, features used, IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and approximate location.
  • Marketing data: email address submitted to our waitlist or newsletter, and engagement with our emails.

Payment data (card details, billing address, tax IDs) is collected directly by our Merchant of Record, Paddle, and is not stored by us. We receive only a transaction reference and a record that a purchase occurred.

3. How we use your data and the legal basis

  • To create and operate your account — performance of contract.
  • To deliver the Service (roadmap, coach, toolkit, content history) — performance of contract.
  • To process purchases and entitlements via Paddle — performance of contract and legal obligation.
  • To provide customer support — performance of contract and legitimate interests.
  • To prevent fraud and secure the Service — legitimate interests and legal obligation.
  • To improve and develop features — legitimate interests.
  • To send service emails (purchase confirmations, account changes) — performance of contract.
  • To send marketing emails — consent (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To comply with law — legal obligation.

4. Who we share your data with

  • Service providers / subprocessors — hosting, database, analytics, email delivery, and AI providers used to power the Service.
  • Paddle.com (Merchant of Record) — for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, refunds, and invoicing. Paddle's privacy notice is available at paddle.com/legal/privacy.
  • Professional advisers — accountants, auditors, and legal counsel where strictly necessary.
  • Authorities — where required by law, court order, or to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our service providers are located outside your country of residence. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions where applicable.

6. Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

We use essential cookies required to keep you signed in and to operate the Service. We may also use limited analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break parts of the Service.

10. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
