1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and CANE health and wellness services ("we", "us", "our"), the operator of the Rebuild application and related websites (the "Service"). By creating an account, accessing, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) and able to form a binding contract. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Account information must be accurate and kept up to date.

3. The Service

Rebuild is a guided digital companion that combines daily prompts, an AI coach, educational content, and a structured roadmap to support people through life transitions. The Service is provided for personal development purposes only and is not a substitute for medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other professional advice. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
• Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others.
• Upload or generate content that is illegal, abusive, hateful, sexually exploitative, or that depicts real people without consent.
• Attempt to access another user's account or our systems without authorisation.
• Probe, scan, scrape, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or interfere with its operation (malware, denial-of-service, etc.).
• Reverse engineer, decompile, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content.
• Circumvent rate limits, plan limits, or other technical restrictions.

5. AI features and outputs

The Service includes AI-generated content (for example, the coach and roadmap). You are responsible for the prompts you submit, for verifying the accuracy of any output before relying on it, and for ensuring you have the rights to any content you input. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation, and must not be used as a substitute for professional advice. We reserve the right to filter, refuse, or moderate inputs and outputs to keep the Service safe.

If you believe content in the Service infringes your rights, contact us at support@ownyourself.life with details. We may remove infringing content and suspend accounts of repeat infringers.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service (journal entries, reflections, messages). You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

7. Our intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Service, its software, design, content, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with your plan and these Terms. No other rights are granted.

8. Payments and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment terms, billing, applicable taxes, cancellations, and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms, available at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms. 9. Service availability

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if: (a) you materially breach these Terms; (b) you fail to pay applicable fees; (c) we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or a security risk; or (d) you repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data, subject to our retention obligations.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid to us (via Paddle) for the Service in that period. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CANE health and wellness services is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The competent courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under your local law.

16. Assignment, force majeure, miscellaneous

You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
